U.S. Figure Skating is no longer taking volunteer applications for the 2017 National Championships. The event will run January 13 - 22, 2017, and will require a lot of assistance from the skating community. Once the sign-ups are completed, assignments will be figured out and volunteers notified of their role(s). Please note, all volunteers will be required to consent to a background check.
Each volunteer assigned will receive the following:
2016 World silver Medalist, 3-time U.S. Champion, and 2014 Olympic team bronze medalist ASHLEY WAGNER came to Kansas City!
Many skaters, parents, and coaches joined us Thursday, August 11 at Silverstein Eye Centers Arena in Independence, MO.
U.S. Figure Skating announced that the 2017 Prudential U.S. Figure Skating Championships will be held in the Kansas City from January 14, 2017 through January 22, 2017. Kansas City and the City of Independence will partner to host this prestigious event. Kansas City Figure Skating Club member and two time national pairs champion, John Coughlin, proudly made the announcement with a little help from young skaters from across the Kansas City area.
